About me I enjoy exploring the local area and finding new experiences. These include hiking, kayaking, running, nature photography, and finding a nice grassy spot to read. Chen style tai chi is also an interest of mine. I'm a bit on the heavy side, but I refuse to let that slow me down! I'm what personality experts would call an INTJ, and very much a freethinker. While I do enjoy the company of others, I do need a bit more downtime from socializing to feel energized.82328232 Five things I could never do without are... 1 Going barefoot whenever I can. Feeling the earth beneath me is just too wonderful to give up. While I do own a pair of Chacos, I tend not to wear them in situations not involving cubicles or halite. 2 Reading. I read..a lot. 3 Places with a nice view, particularly if I have my camera with me. These would include the cliffs at Thatcher Park, and the fields of the Crossings in Colonie. I love seeing those high wispy clouds on a sunny day, or watching a harvest moon over a mug of mulled cider. 82324 Exercise. Just puts me in such a good mood afterward. 82325 NPR. I really like The Prairie Home Companion and Car Talk. 82328232Just FYI, I should mention that I'm allergic to cats. Also, I'm definitely not risking a job that I love to enjoy recreational drugs.
