You know... there are parts of being married I miss and parts I don't. I'd like to have all the good parts, but skip the bad parts, and I'm certainly not interested in giving another exwife a house, paying her alimony and child support, or splitting my retirement with her. That said, I really miss some aspects of marriage. After some thought I've come to the conclusion that what I really need is an Enemy With Benefits EWB. We get together whenever the mood seizes us. You bore me for an hour relating the minute by minute details of your insignificant day, then argue with me about something relatively unimportant, getting angrier and angrier as it becomes increasing clear that I was right all along, you finally ending the argument by saying You know what your problem is.... thereby starting another argument. We would follow the argument by having great sex, after which you are as sweet as can be. That is, until we meet again. Once a week meetings would be good, as that would allow you a week to really stew about something so you would be livid the next time we meet.
